Hooray! It's Smart Parenting's Baby Shower season again! We’re having a baby shower for all you lovely expectant moms. We’ve got loads of stuff lined up for you. There will be talks on financial readiness and love languages. We’ve also got succulent arrangement and a pre-natal yoga class. And of course, there will be loads of games and freebies. Let Yaya join a workshop

The Basic Yaya Training workshop continues on to its 4th session this weekend. This will be its last session with the main topic being Money Management. Topics covered include personal finance mindset setting, saving, emergency funds and bank savings, and money and relationships. Stock up on loads of books

The country’s biggest book event is happening this weekend! The Manila International Book Fair is back for its 36th year collecting publishers and bookstores under one roof. There will be discounts on all kinds of reads, book launches and signings, contests and more. The fair runs from Sept. 16 to 20, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.


Go to a trade fair

Over 80 booths will be gathered at this year's Negros Trade Fair.  Small and medium entrepreneurs from Negros will bring furniture, housewares, garments, fashion accessories, and much more for you to purchase and bring home. There will also be a launching of a cell phone app called "Kabalo Ka" (translated from Hiligaynon meaning "Did You Know?"), an interactive art wall, a sugar photo exhibit and a raffle among others. The event runs from Sept. 16 to 20 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati City.
