On October 8, 2021, Malacañang announced that children below 18 years old are now allowed to travel outside Metro Manila to areas under GCQ and MGCQ. However, this is limited to point-to-point travel, depending on the guidelines and health protocols implemented by the Department of Tourism and local governments.

Despite these provisions, it's understandable that some parents are still wary of taking their kids outside. But if your children badly want a feel of the outdoors, dining inside the car might just be the compromise you are looking for.
