Tips for watching PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie with your child
PAW Patrol: The Might Movie is rated G by the MTRCB. American websites report that the Movie Picture Association has given this movie a PG rating for “mild action/peril” and Parents.com says that the opening scene (and ending scene, but we’ll keep this spoiler-free) involves a fire and characters getting locked inside a building, which might be worth noting if you have “an anxious or sensitive kiddo”.
Here’s five tips from the Smart Parenting team:
- Get to know the characters before watching. (Send this to a fellow parent who’s planning to watch the movie with their child!)
- Bring your child’s favorite PAW Patrol stuffed toy as his or her movie buddy.
- Allow children to be children! They will scream, run, and jump–and that’s okay!
- Enjoy the movie too! There’s a parenting lesson there.
- Remember, no job is too big and no pup is too small!
