New Family Entertainment Spot Brings Gaming and Food Together!Immerse in a virtual reality world that brings superb family fun — without getting hungry!by Lei Dimarucut-Sison .
Parents with a nine-to-five day job know the struggle we face on weekends. You plan a day out with your family members at the mall, hoping to catch up on some fun quality time. Instead, you spend it waiting in line at a packed restaurant after spending 30 minutes (if you're lucky) looking for a parking spot on a day that already began with a two-hour traffic.
We don't know what to tell you about the traffic, but there is one place where you probably don't need to line up for hours to get a seat at a restaurant, and every member of the family will find something fun to do. The place: The Garage at City of Dreams (COD), which opens this Sunday, October 14, at 5 p.m.
With modern industrial interiors and a 563-seating capacity, The Garage is a Virtual Reality (VR) Zone and food park that allows guests to experience virtual reality entertainment and delight in a wide range of casual dining choices from the carefully curated selection of food and beverage trucks and trailers set in a 2,714-square meter space at the upper ground floor of COD.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

You must survive a course filled with traps such as giant Piranha Plants and Thwomps or large stone creatures that attempt to crush the players. This highly sought-after game can be played by up to four persons.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Ski Rodeo, on the other hand, is a steep downhill ski simulator that lets a player ski a vast snowy mountain course with sharp slopes and steep drops at an immense speed with the goal to finish at the fastest time possible or within the allotted time of two minutes.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
This heart-dropping game, which can be played in pairs, is open to individuals with a height of 140 cm and up.
The Hospital Escape Terror, which can be played by up to four participants, is an immersive horror room game open to thrill-seekers ages 13 years old and above.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
In this game, the goal is to escape and survive altogether the dark, cursed, and abandoned hospital within nine minutes while being restrained on a wheel chair (virtually, of course).
