It's already the second month of 2019, so better plot your movie nights with whole family! Two of this month's movie offerings are sequels to well-loved stories.
A Dog's Way Home
Whether you're a family with furry babies or not, you will love, enjoy, and shed tears about a dog named Bella who gets lost and goes on a 400-mile journey for more than two years to get back to her owner, Lucas. Along the way, the adorable Bella saves lives, touches many others, makes new, unusual friendships, and more!
A Dog's Way Home is a movie based on W. Bruce Cameron's book of the same title. Cameron and his wife, Cathryn Michon, co-wrote the screenplay, so the film will hopefully capture the spirit of the book.
Bryce Dallas Howard voices the dog Bella, Jonah Hauer-King plays Lucas, and together with Ashley Judd, Alexandra Shipp, and more give their heart to this movie. A Dog's Way Home starts showing in theaters on February 6!

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
Everyone was singing or humming "Everything is Awesome" when the first The Lego Movie came out in 2014. That's how much kids and adults alike loved Emmet, Lucy a.k.a. Wyldstyle, Batman, Unikitty and the rest of the Lego Minifigures featured in the film.
CONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended VideosThe sequel, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, picks up five years after the events of the last movie when Emmet stopped President Business and The Kragle from gluing everything into permanent fixtures. Everything is NOT awesome this time. As the end of the first movie hinted, Lego Duplo was going to play into the story, and now we know it's in the form of invaders from outer space that will wreak havoc faster than they can rebuild!
Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy, Will Arnett as Batman, and Will Ferrell as President Business, will reprise their roles to make everything awesome again (hopefully). Catch The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part on cinemas starting February 13!

Even if you or your kids have never read the books, the first two How To Train Your Dragon movies set up the end of the trilogy pretty nicely. In How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Hiccup and Toothless have been through a lot together. Their friendship has been tried and tested countless times, even more so after Hiccup's dad and chief of their village died indirectly due to the actions of a hypnotized Toothless.
The two now face a new foe, a tyrant named Grimmel, who wants to lord over all dragons. Hiccup and Toothless, together with Hiccup's mom, Valka, and the rest of the gang led by Astrid, need to find a secret Dragon Utopia to save all their beloved winged creatures. To make things interesting, Toothless finds out he's not the only Night Fury all along!
Jay Baruchel as Hiccup, Cate Blanchet as Valka, and America Ferrera as Astrid give it one more fight and give this beautiful adventure story a glorious ending. See how it all ends as How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World shows in cinemas starting February 22!
