It depends on what kind of help you need. Some moms, like those who delivered via C-section, need their yayas to take care of their newborns. Other moms only need help with cleaning up messes, washing feeding bottles, or looking after the child when mommy takes a bath or eats. Decide on her working hours and responsibilities and list these down before the interview. Make sure that you have clearly discussed your expectations and her duties and responsibilities upon hiring. Remember to always make sure that your yaya is capable of accomplishing the tasks you give her, before fully entrusting your child to her care.
