Jennylyn Mercado Gives Baby Daughter 'Dream Crib': 'Ang Tagal Namin Hinintay Magkaron Ng Baby Girl'

Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo went through a not-so-ordinary journey to have their first child together. So, when it finally happened, the power couple did not hesitate to go all-out for the newest member of their family. A tour around the nursery for "Baby D" is proof of that!

Jennylyn and Dennis announced the arrival of their first baby together in their latest Youtube vlog uploaded last May 1, 2022, putting a literal spin on 'Labor Day.'

But before sharing the good news, the vlog was initially meant for a quick tour around their baby's nursery.

Celebrity Nursery: Jennylyn And Dennis Trillo's Baby Girl

The new mom shared that the nursery was originally their staff room, which underwent some renovation to fit their baby's needs. 

Before entering the room, a disinfecting area is placed just outside the door. 

Once you step inside the nursery, hues of pink will welcome Baby "D's" visitors. The walls are painted white except for the accent wall which has flamingo wallpaper to give the room a more lively feel.

A bookshelf can also be seen as soon as you enter the nursery.

While showing the changing area, which also doubles as a dresser, the new mom said that she wanted to have labels for each drawer "para siyempre hindi naliligaw sila ate kami na rin."

Jennylyn also shared a useful hack every new mom can find useful that she also learned from Dennis' sister. That is to have at least two to three baby bags in several areas around the house to avoid cramming for essentials. 

She tells in the vlog, "Maglagay daw ako ng two to three na baby bags na nakapalibot sa buong bahay para raw kunwari nasa baba kami biglang kailangan mag-change ng diaper, mayroon nang emergency bag na nandyan na lahat, may diaper na, may wipes na, may cream na."

Throughout the tour, Jennylyn and Dennis showed various shelves and organizers for all sorts of baby needs from transparent caddy containers, tiers of shelving, and spacious cabinets. It's safe to say that Jennylyn definitely owned the nesting phase here!

Dream Baby Crib

Jennylyn was also excited to share that she finally was able to get her dream crib, one with an elegantly draped pink canopy on it. "Parang [pang] princess" in the words of Jennylyn.

The celebrity mom says, "Kasi ang tagal namin hinintay 'to na magkaroon ng baby girl so talagang binigay ko na. Binuhos ko na."

She also did not forget to mention the baby camera, which she said was raved by her husband.

"'Yung camera na 'yan talagang ni-request ko 'yan kay Dennis kasi sabi ko kailangan natin ng baby camera na non-WiFi," Jennylyn said.

Tips To Keep Nursery Organized

After watching Jennyln and Dennis' nursery tour here are some baby room organizing we picked up.

1. Allot storage areas (a lot of them). There are a lot of essentials newborns need so for new parents, there's no such thing as extra storage. You can always use some additional space to avoid clutter.

2. Use transparent caddy containers. To easily locate the things you need. This saves time and helps make caring for a baby at least a bit stress-free.

3. Label containers and cabinets. Any help you can get to get things organized is a big help! Jennylyn for example already labeled bins for clothes that are "too small" or "too big" so no need to go swim around the pile of clothes that you can or cannot use yet. Why didn't we think of this brilliant idea too?

4. Keep essential within arms reach. Avoid cramming whenever you look for items that you regularly use for the baby by designating a specific spot for it or putting it all in a handy bag.
