1. This uncle who dressed up to meet his newborn niece

New uncle Grant Kessler donned a full-on suit complete with pocket square and tie clip to meet his newborn niece for the first time. Yes, you read that right -- a full on suit. Incredibly sweet! “First impressions matter,” was his reasoning for looking dapper from head to toe (not a hair out of place), according to his sister Iris who posted the photo of him on Twitter.
“He’s always the type to show up to things dressed up, or bring a cake for no reason,” she said of his brother in an interview with Buzzfeed. Their mom Karen added, “His dressing up was both a show of respect and a way to honor her arrival.” The 18-year-old’s photo of him waiting in the hospital has clearly made an impression, not just on his niece, but hundreds of thousands of people as well. The tweet has been favorited over 455,000 times and retweeted over 140,000 times, as of writing. Never change, Grant! 2. This mom who found this in her bathroom (get ready to shriek and laugh hard)
Mom Ashford Evans had us in tears – from laughing! – while reading about the mysterious block of something that filled their bathroom with glorious smells. The writer and mom of three wrote in a post on her blog Biscuits and Crazy that she found the block sitting in their bathroom and, justifiably, thought it was an old bar of soap. “The smell of fresh grapefruit in a perfectly silent house is just short of heaven I believe… [and] throughout the night I returned several times to inhale its tropical scent … I never bothered to wash my hands after fondling it because it was, after all, just soap.”
The next morning, she asked her daughter where they got the “delicious smelling” bar of soap—which her daughter was now holding against her lips, by the way. Her daughter replied, “the boys bathroom at Tae Kwon Do” and it took a moment but finally mom Ashford realized, “It wasn’t some upscale boutique $15 soap I had been caressing for the last 12 hours. It was a urinal cake.” The bar of soap was actually a urinal deodorizer…from a public bathroom. It was literally a block of air-freshener that men peed on!
“With this realization, I screamed and jerked it from her [Eeny’s] hands flinging it into the trashcan,” she wrote. “‘WASH YOUR HANDS, YOUR FACE, OH GOD WASH EVERYTHING!!!!!!,” she screamed at her daughter who was also screaming at her to give back the block.
Ah, yes, the perfect family morning. (Source: Babble)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

3. The hotel staff who obliged to a request for a pillow fort
A guest at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco made a peculiar request upon booking his room reservation. Ben Steiner, a grown-up, jokingly asked if he could have a pillow fort. You’d expect the staff would simply ignore the ridiculous request, right? Wrong. “I walked into my room and I'll be damned if there wasn't the best room fort I've ever seen in my entire life waiting for me, complete with hot chocolate and candy canes,” recounted Ben in a Facebook post.
A make-shift tent was set-up by propping a sheet over a chair and the TV shelf. Inside was a pile of pillows and a tray full of goodies perfect for a cozy night in. “It's half an hour later and I still can't stop giggling like a little girl. And yes, that selfie I took inside my new sheeted abode is one of pure joy,” said Ben. The staff even left a little greeting note and a p.s. telling him about the pins holding the sheet up. We have half a mind to try this at our next hotel stay. Who knows, the kids might find a surprise in our room just like Ben did! (Source: Babble)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
