We see them as a happy family in that Jollibee commercial and other TV ads. The Legaspi family—Zoren and wife Carmina, together with twins Cassy and Mavy—embodies the ideal Filipino family in a happy home. But what is their family like off the camera?
Zoren Legaspi, Cassy, Mavy, and Carmina is happy that most Pinoys see their family as ideal, but Carmina admits, "Wala namang perfect, di naman kami perfect."
Here's how Carmina describes their relationship: "Nag-aaway din kami, may mga arguments din kami. But at the end of the day, pag-ibig pa rin ang umiiral."
And the secret to her happy marriage? Carmina answers, "Wala naman kaming mga pretentions. What you see is what you get. Eto kami e mapagmahal kami. We share."
Zoren says he taught what sharing is to his 15-year-old twins at an early age. Carmina, for her part, taught the kids through example.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Ang importante kasi, nakikita nila, nakikita nila sa amin, na nagsi-share kami sa kanila, sa ibang tao, sa mga kasambahay. So I think it follows."

Though he is already a teenager, Mavy still kisses his dad in front of his barkada during basketball practice.
Wala siya nung, 'Mom, no!' Wala siyang ganun. That's why I'm really, really thankful."
Asked about an important lesson her parents taught her, Cassy replies, "One of the most important things that my parents taught me is to always be thankful with what you have."
Just like any other dad, Zoren is protective of his kids, especially his girl Cassy. He requires them, for instance, to keep their social media accounts private.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Siguro instinct ng magulang na ayaw mong pakawalan sa gubat na baka masaktan ang mga damdamin."
For now, Cassy and Mavy have not yet fully committed themselves to be part of showbiz.
Once in a while they appear on ASAP, and do TV commercials, but they know that studies is their priority.
But once they finish school, and want to pursue showbiz, Zoren and Carmina are one in saying that they will fully support their kids.
