Graduating from high school is an achievement in itself and getting accepted into college is another accomplishment that every parent should be proud of.
But when your kid gets offered admission by a prestigious university abroad, you have more than every right to dance, jump and down, or scream, especially if you’re the mom and dad of these kids.
Thanks to the Facebook posts of the Philippine Science High School, we now know some of its graduates are heading to prestigious universities abroad, including the so-called Ivy League schools in the United States.
Nathan Wayne Ariston from the PSHS-Central Mindanao Campus received four (!) admission offers, including a full scholarship grant to Yale University in the United States. He was also admitted to two other U.S. universities, the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of California-Irvine.

Nathan, the son of a farmer and an elementary school teacher, was also accepted in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Maria Charisma Estrella from the PSHS-CALABARZON campus received a scholarship grant from the New York University for a dual degree program: BS Biology and BS Biomolecular Engineering.
Charisma was also offered admission to Yale-NUS College in Singapore.

Edrian Paul Liao from the PSHS-Cagayan Valley campus will soon head to Duke University as the first Filipino recipient of the Karsh International Scholars Program. As its scholar, the program will provide eight semesters of full tuition, housing, and even a standard meal plan!

Jysel Ashley Ayop from the PSHS-Southern Mindanao campus (PSHS-SMC) also received four admission offers. She got a scholarship offer from National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan) for Engineering Technology. She received financial aid offer from Jacobs University Bremen (Germany) for Industrial Engineering.
Bentley University (USA) and Rangsit University (Thailand) have also love to Jysel on their campuses.
