A California, USA teacher rewrote Lizzo’s "Truth Hurts" to motivate and engage her second-grade class, video posted on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, shows.
DorothyHoney Mallari, a teacher at Los Medanos Elementary School in Pittsburg, a city 40 miles east of San Francisco, gave the song an educational twist and set up a tripod to film the class singalong. The tune discusses themes of schoolwork, friendship, and positivity.
The video, shared on Facebook by the Pittsburg Unified School District, shows Mallari dancing on school desks and mouthing the words as the second graders enthusiastically sing and dance with her.
