Aside from acting and managing a business, Camille Prats is mothering two teens Nathan and Ice, and two toddlers, Nala and Nolan with her husband VJ Yambao. In an interview with Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio, Camille admits that sometimes, in her long list of things to accomplish every day, VJ's needs come last.
She reveals, "May araw na ni hindi kami naghahawak."
Like Iya Villania and Drew Arellano, what helped her and VJ to compensate for the time that they cannot spend with each other because parenting gets in the way, is communication.
"We made it a point na may time kami dapat na nag-uusap kami, kasi we feel so detached eh, you have toddlers, hindi kayo maguusap kasi iisipin mo lahat ng kailangan sa bahay sa mga anak mo, sa kakainin, sa grocery, your work. So yung asawa mo, I didn't realize they always come last," she said in Rica's vlog.

And what do they talk about when they finally get the time to be with each other? Camille recommends taking a trip down memory lane and remembering the good times.
"If there's one thing that I would want to share about couples, balikan niyo yung nakaraan. Lahat ng pwede niyong alalahanin nung time na nagdi-date kayo, balikan ninyo. So you'll remember how far you've come," she said.

Camille Prats shares best marriage advice for couples
Rica also asked Camille what's the best marriage advice for couples. Camille said, "It's seeking God and having a relationship with Him together."
She admits it's not going to be easy, but she acknowledges how a husband can impact and influence his wife, and vice versa.
To arrive at the point where you can be comfortable talking about each other's faith journeys, this is what we picked up from her: they try to do things together as much as they can. In her words, "Clingy kami."
She stressed, "It's important for a couple to have a thing in common and enjoy it, otherwise, ang hirap mag-usap kapag walang relationship."

When her husband sometimes nitpicks on her, she realized that all of those were meant to help her, not break her.
She explains, "I needed that as a person. Akala natin yung ginagawa ng asawa natin, nababadtrip tayo sa kanila, we see them as the enemy but to be honest, I needed him to do that for me to be able to change myself."
When you've built your relationship on faith, submission to your husband will become easier. And Camille assures you, it will not just benefit him, but more importantly, it will help you to become a better person too.
"Hindi mo naman talaga mababago ang sarili mo overnight. Unti-unti mong i-e-erase yung dating issues mo."
She added, "There has to be a flow kasi in a marriage. You have to give in order to receive, hindi pwedeng puro pakabig siya tapos puro pakabig din ako, asan yung flow?"
