Donita Rose Has Found A New Love Who Calls Her ‘Unexpected Blessing’

In 2016, Donita Rose became a single mom of one when her 12-year marriage ended following her husband's extramarital affair (read here).

Six years later, the actress-turned-chef, who's been working in the United States since 2020, has found a new love. She said so in an Instagram post, dated March 27, 2022.

"I think it’s safe to say I’m seeing someone…" she said in the caption of her post with a photo of her and a partly concealed man.

Three days later, Donita posted a photo with apparently the same man, but his face showing this time. She identified the man as "my plus one" for the event that they were attending in the U.S. state of California: the Los Angeles Fashion Week.

A few more days later, she posted a some shots with same man, writing this caption: "The grass seems greener these days, or is it just me?"

Finally on April 8, Donita introduced her man by tagging Felson Palad, a musical artist also based in the U.S., in her post showing Felson's goofy side in several photos.

She explained in the caption, "After my last post yesterday, this guy called to say he posted these photos. When I saw them, I laughed so hard and asked, 'Why this as an introduction photo?'

"His response: “Para habang tumatagal pumopogi ako.” (So as time goes by, I’ll become more handsome.” I almost died laughing. That’s @felsonpalad for you peeps. #micdrop."

In Felson's original post of the same photos, he had this caption: "Twilight! Life is short, we need to believe and know Jesus and fall in love with a person who loves more the Lord than you."

He tagged Donita in his next post showing their sweet photos, telling her in the caption, "You are my unexpected blessing. I didn’t think you would ever come into my life, but here you are, the Apple of my eye.

"God has already prepared the good works and adventure for us together. I am excited. Pinaghirapan natin yang eye bags natin hahaha!"

Donita commented with obvious kilig: "Pakibura naman ang kislap sa mga mata ko. Nakakahiya!!!"

The woman in love posted the same sweet photo of them, but also shared the mixed reaction to her posts. She said, "Although I’m currently a little overwhelmed with work deadlines & can’t answer all comments for now, I just want to thank everyone for their overwhelmingly touching messages.

"There have also been a ton of negative comments from netizens regarding articles written about us and our social media posts, some making memes and trolling on us. Yes, they have been painful for me, I’ll admit, but just know that @felsonpalad and I prayed blessings for them.

"Am so incredibly proud of how he and his family have handled this. Mind you, he has been unfazed & extremely amused to say the least about the negativity & we are excited now, more than ever to proclaim God’s faithfulness & goodness in our lives.

"May this journey we are on encourage many of God’s promise in Romans 8:28, 'That He is able to turn everything around for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes.'

"I do not live for the approval or the praises of man but I do find encouragement from the love we are receiving. Much love back at everyone. There are so many wonderful stories and bellyaching hilarious moments of us to share but for now, this is what’s most on my heart."
