For her part, Rona also made it clear she is not neglecting her health. "I cardio daily, I have no vices, I do my best to live a healthy lifestyle, I take care of myself, my husband, and my child."
She adds, "Punto dyan, ang katawan ng tao magbabago, pero hindi dapat gawin basehan ng kaligayahan." Eric followed it up with a status that read: "'Pag mataba ka, hindi ibig sabihin unhealthy ka."
A message to body shamers
Despite the criticism, Rona refuses to let other people’s comments affect her. Instead, she wished them "true and unconditional love. Not just from your significant other, but also from yourself."
Addressing her critics, she said, "love yourself enough even if you’re going through something that you will see its beauty and strength despite its imperfection. Know that you can body shame me all day long, but sweetheart, that doesn’t phase me!"ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
