5 Wedding Bands Inspired By That Scene From 'Crash Landing On You'

Pinoys love a good love story, so much so that many of us have been smitten by Korean dramas, or K-dramas. Never mind that we have to learn how to read subtitles quickly; the kilig factor these shows deliver makes it all worth it.

Pinoy K-drama fans’ current obsession is tvN’s “Crash Landing On You” which stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. In a nutshell, the series, which premiered in December 2019, is about a South Korean woman who accidentally crashes into North Korea where she meets a dashing army officer. Predictably, they fall in love along the way, but you have to watch to see how their love story unfolds.

“Crash Landing On You” is available for streaming on Netflix, but if you haven’t started watching this series yet, here’s a warning that spoilers are up ahead.

On episode 13, Captain Ri Jung Hyuk (Hyun Bin) wanted to make his relationship with Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin) official and surprises her with a classic couples’ gold ring. The scene is so heart-melting that by now everyone is hoping to find their own Captain Ri who will “put a ring on it.”

Whether you’re still waiting for your happy ending, or have found “the one” (lucky you!) but are still waiting for a proposal, your man may need a more obvious push towards that direction. Well, if it’s a sign he’s waiting for, this is it! Hint: Valentine’s Day is coming!
