  • 'Hindi ako financer": Ninang's post on role of godparents goes viral
A Facebook post by netizen Dyanne Jordan Montiero has gone viral for her straightforward views on the role of godparents, in light of the approaching holidays.

Hindi para maging financer," she said in her post. This is a reaction to an old private message with an unnamed friend whose child apparently is Montiero's godchild.

In a series of screenshots of their conversation, the friend repeatedly asks Montiero for her child's Christmas gift, even suggesting that the latter just send it through a money transfer service.

Nakaka-offend na po kase," she ends her post. (abs-cbnnews.com)
