A World of Married Couple started airing on March 27, 2020, on South Korea's cable TV channel JTBC. It became the highest rated cable drama in history and even broke the records set by Crash Landing on You and Itaewon Class, two K-dramas that are already on every K-drama must-watch list (newbie or not).

The Korean teleserye, based on the BBC One drama, Doctor Foster, is about a picture-perfect couple, Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae) and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon). They have a teenage son, Joon Young.
Sun Woo is a successful doctor, while Tae Oh is an aspiring movie maker. They live in a small, wealthy, and picturesque suburban town called Gosan and all seems to be going well until Sun Woo suspects that her husband is being unfaithful. That’s where everything starts, but it is not your typical story where the wife hunts for her husband's mistress.
