  • Aljur Abrenica posts touching birthday message to Kylie Padilla

Since the rumors erupted and the subsequent confirmation by Pep.ph that Kylie is three months pregnant with their first baby, the Kapuso actor has not spoken about her lady love -- until now. Aljur took to Instagram to send Kylie a touching birthday message that seems to allude to the challenges that the couple is going through right now. "Love is not all about emotions. It's about making a choice and fighting for it. The road leading to 'happily ever after' is bumpy and treacherous. Countless tests are laid along the way. Only those who choose to fight TOGETHER will live happily ever after," the quote read. A day before Kylie's 24th birthday, the two got engaged, but have yet to officially confirm the pregnancy. Look: Toaster grill for frying bacon

What if there's an easier and healthier way to cook bacon? The Bacon Express Crispy Bacon Grill by Nostalgia Electronics works like a bacon toaster that cooks 6 strips of bacon at a time. Just hang the strips on the non-stick cooking plate, close the door, and turn the dial for your desired cooking time, depending on how you want your bacon. And it's healthier, too, because the excess fat and grease just collects on the slide-out tray at the bottom. Bacon Express Crispy Bacon Grill sells for $39.99 -- that's around P2,000, plus shipping fee -- on Amazon. (fatherly.com)

    Another conjoined twins successfully separated!

Identical twins Ballenie and Bellanie Camacho, who were conjoined at the base of their spine (lower back), were successfully separated after almost 22 hours of surgery on January 17 at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York. The team of experts who attended to them included neurosurgeons, orthopedic, urological, gastrointestinal, pediatric and plastic surgeons. The twins' condition was even more complicated as Ballenie was born with a heart condition. According to their surgeon Dr. Samir Pandya, things have gone really well. It's an early birthday gift for the girls, who turn 1 on February 4. They are recovering quickly and were moved out of the pediatric intensive care unit Monday. If there are no complications, the girls could go home in a month. (today.com
