Andi Eigenmann: 'Don't call me a bad mother for being different.'
The single mom recently fired back on Twitter at someone who allegedly called her a "bad mom." Andi's tweets seem to be related to an Instagram photo of her daughter Ellie, which she posted on April 7 but which has now been deleted. "Today, I realized I will always be in the wrong because the people of this country does not even know what is sexist and what is not," Andi said, adding that these people also don't know how to recognize good art. "Please don't call me a bad mother for being different than you. It's a shame how there are still so many close minded people in this country," she added.
Replies to her tweets were mostly in support of the single mom. "There's nothing wrong with the picture. And mga utak nila ang may problema," wrote Twitter user @ladyluust. "Cheer up. You're a good mother. [Many] of us had seen what you've been through. You're just being yourself," said @jessicadburry, while @SiosonChen added, "Yaan mo na sila. Basta alam mo sa sarili mo na you're a good mom to your daughter, yun ang importante." (pep.ph)

Turkish Airlines cabin crew delivers baby born midflight
Hats off to the cabin crew of Turkish Airlines for assisting a woman who gave birth to a baby girl 42,000 feet above ground. The mother, Nafi Diaby, was 28 weeks pregnant and suffered from childbirth pains soon after the plane took off on a flight from Conakry, the capital of Guinea, to Istanbul via Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. Most airlines only allow expectant mothers who are in their 28th to 36th week of pregnancy to travel if they have a signed letter from a doctor. "They promptly responded to assist her childbirth during the flight," a Turkish Airlines statement said. It was unknown if there was a medical doctor on board, but some passengers also willingly assisted during the birth. The mother and the baby, named Kadiju, were immediately taken to a hospital when the plane landed. Both are said to be tired but in good health. Good job, crew! (bbc.com)
