Andi Eigenmann's Sunset Maternity Shoot in Siargao

If her maternity shoot is any indication, Andi Eigenmann is clearly living her best life. The soon-to-be mom of two recently shared a few snaps of her maternity photos on Instagram, proving that she didn’t need any frills to pull off a breathtaking shoot — all it took to show off Andi’s pregnancy glow was her in her swimsuits against a beautiful backdrop of an island paradise.

Yes, the maternity photos were shot in Siargao, with Nice Print Photography flying in especially for the occasion.

Andi’s boyfriend, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, joined her in some of the shots, and Andi captioned their intimate moments with a story of their relationship.

“The love we share does not expect anything to be perfect to be treated as though it is. It is simple, honest, and filled with content. And although others have tried to taint it with ill-judgment and dismay, it remains strong and beautiful, and kind. Always kind.

“That’s what fills our love with so much joy. This kind of love is possible. I know that because we built it ourselves. And we have more than enough of this to share with those around us. Specially to our little ones,” Andi writes.

Andi’s pregnancy announcement in February was met with mixed reactions from fans. But the actress could not care less and even directly replied to some of the negative comments to say that she is happily pregnant and does not “expect nor intend for everyone to be pleased by how I see my life.”

Of course, her firstborn, Ellie joined the shoot as well. And it looks like she really can’t wait to be a big sister. A few months back, Andi shared that Ellie was more updated with the baby and constantly looks at Andi’s baby app to know more about her sibling’s growth.

For what it’s worth, Ellie seems to approve of Andi’s relationship with Philmar. Andi said she would have been ready to give up her boyfriend if her daughter did not approve of him, but she was surprised that the two hit it off immediately. The mom thinks it’s thanks to Philmar’s chill and “no fuss” attitude.

Andi’s growing family may be unconventional to some but it’s clear that Andi is happy and at peace with her life now. She says as much in a family photo with Philmar, Ellie, and his son, Toro.

“Ellie and I started as a tiny family of two, we’ve been really happy together, but later I was blessed with not just Philmar, but Toro as well. (He also has another adorable son named Kanoa who lives in France, and we are hoping to meet him very soon).

“Our family may not be ideal to some, but others’ perception is not our reality. I love my family, and I love our life. We are aware that it is not ordinary — because it’s extraordinary.”
