Actress and TV host Camille Prats is already pregnant, according to Pep.ph. The entertainment portal reports that Camille confirmed the news today, February 1, during the taping of Mars, the talk show she co-hosts with Suzi Abrera on GMA News TV 11. No other details about her pregnancy have been made public.
The baby will be the first child for Camille and VJ Yambao, who tied the knot just last January 7 at the Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Batangas. Camille is already a mom to Nathan, 9, her son with her late husband, Anthony Linsangan. VJ is also already a dad to a young boy from a former relationship.
Camille and the US-based VJ, who were classmates (but not close friends) in grad school, got reacquainted about a year after her late husband succumbed to cancer in 2011. They got engaged in July 2015.
The two have been prepping for their new life together. Camille said she was willing to uproot the life she and Nathan built here in the country and move to the U.S. with VJ if need be, although Camille says she would also love to continue working.
In her wedding vows, Camille said, "Thank you for always putting me first. For always looking for my happiness and comfort before yours. For loving me with all my flaws and imperfection. Most of all, I am grateful for the love that you give to Nathan. You are truly an answered prayer not only for me but more so for him. Because of you, I am a firm believer in second chances, destiny, and fate."
When Nathan celebrated his ninth birthday recently, VJ sent his “son” a touching message: “Thanks for bringing so many reasons to laugh and smile into our lives, with your jokes, prank, and non-stop questions. We will never get tired of you. I pray that may you grow the way God wants you to be. Mom and Dad will always be here for you.”
Camille has always been vocal about wanting a big family and is looking forward to being a wife and having more kids. Looks like her wish is coming true!
