Establishments should put signages of PWD benefits
Under Republic Act (RA) 10754, all establishments subject to VAT are required to place signages of the privileges and benefits within their premises for the information of persons with disabilities (PWDs), Manila Bulletin reports. The law grants PWDs with VAT exemption and 20 percent discount. (If you are a senior citizen and a PWD, you can only apply for 20 percent discount with one ID.) To avail of the benefits, you need to present your PWD ID.
