The Department of Education (DepEd) recently released the official calendar for school year 2018 to 2019. Classes open on June 4 this year, but this can extend until August 31 for private schools.
The school year consists of 200 class days, as per the order published on the DepEd website and its Facebook page. Below is the official calendar for the upcoming school year that includes holidays and school breaks, examination days, and (tentatively) scheduled special days. Note that dates may vary for private schools.
