Dimples Romana Slays As Maleficent At The Black Magic Party!

Anyone can wear Halloween costumes, but only a few can pull it off nicely and with a bang! Dimples Romana stood out at Star Magic’s Black Magic party, held last Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

Arriving as none other than Maleficent, the mom of two wore a black, slitted dress with a feathered-adorned neckline. To complete her look, Dimples wore a horned headpiece, breathtaking wings, and held a snake staff. (Check out our review for the movie Maleficent 2 here.)

“Came as @disneymaleficent tonight, my favorite villain,” Dimples shared on Instagram, thanking stylist Drew Lacia for putting together her Halloween OOTD. The black dress was by fashion designer Jhong Sudlon, and it took a total of four people to work on the wings, headdress, and staff.

She totally deserved the WTF (Wow That’s Fantastic) costume award.

The award-winning actress, who plays Daniela Mondragon in ABS-CBN’s Kadenang Ginto, also posed for photos in character, with a piercing look or a timid smile (smirk?). Fellow celebrities and netizens were simply amazed by Dimples’ Maleficent costume with comments such as “Ikaw na!” “Ibang level!” and “Hindi nagpatalo si mommy!”

Dimples, a.k.a. The Mistress of Evil, arrived at Star Magic’s Black Magic Ball with her eldest child, 15-year-old daughter Callie Ahmee. “My baby in REAL life @callieahmee looking every bit of the goddess that she is,” the mom of two wrote. Cheers to more parties together, my ate, “Dimples added.

Maintaining her Maleficent character during the party was a challenge. Dimples couldn’t help but pose wacky with her daughter while dancing at the party.
