  • ECHOstore (ECHO standing for environment, community, hope and organization) Sustainable Lifestyle celebrates its second year anniversary as a pioneering green and fair trade retail store for sustainable products and community support initiatives, with the launch of its campaigned entitled GREEN HOME, CLEAN HOME. ECHOstore believes that a sustainable lifestyle begins first with the self and one’s personal surroundings. In its first year, ECHOstore launched a natural body care line called Home Basics stating that you can begin living naturally first and foremost with what you use on your bodies. Portion of the sales of the ECHOstore Home Basics continue to support women’s health advocacies.

    Now on its second year anniversary, the campaign GREEN HOME, CLEAN HOME urges everyone, especially the moms, to check the kind of home cleaning solution choices used in the home. It is a campaign which aims to increase awareness of the use of green environment friendly products in the household. ECHOstore’s newest home cleaning product line called ECHOstore Home Basics is a collection of eco-friendly home cleaning solutions formulated with natural cleaning ingredients that effectively eliminates germs and bacteria. Each product is designed to make the toughest household chores a breeze from dishwashing to disinfecting surfaces, to laundry while keeping your home a green home. There are absolutely no harsh chemicals, bleaches or toxins are in these cleaning solutions.

    Favorites are the handy travel-size surface cleaner which effectively cleans and sanitizes any surface and is safe to use even for babies! The dishwashing liquid strips off grease but is gentle on the hands as it contains no artificial surfactants. Other products include fruit and veggie washes, liquid laundry detergent, and room and linen sprays.


    ECHOstore helps support new, healthy, non-toxic products made by Pinoys from microfinance groups which are in need of financial support. To date, they are already partners with over 100 communities, each made up of at least 50 women. These women have just snippets of time and intermittent schedules, juggling their roles as mother, wife, homemaker and creating additional income for the family and community. ECHOstore believes that by allowing these groups to partner with them, less women will opt to leave the country in search of greener pastures, since they can earn money while being with their families.

    The best part of the campaign is that each purchase of the Home Basics products supports the ECHOstore Hope Fund. Similar to ECHOstore’s Body Basics that supports women’s health, Home Basics promotes environmental sustainability initiatives as well. So it’s hitting two birds with one stone: cleaning your home while you’re greening the earth too.
