Filipinos To Race as One for 10.10.10 Run for Pasig River

Looking for a fun and memorable way to bond with your family while helping save a treasured natural resource?

This October 10, 2010, lend your support to the Pasig River and help in its restoration and preservation. The Run for Pasig River aims to get over runners from various sectors such as government offices, schools, business corporations and more to be united in the single advocacy of save the Ilog Pasig for the present and coming generations.

The Run for Pasig River is calling on everyone to join and be one of the 120,000 runners in order to earn a Guiness World Record.

Treat this activity as a way to get into shape, bond with loved ones, and race alongside hundreds of thousands of other Pinoys driven by the same cause.

To sign up, visit www.101010runforpasigriver.com and join any of the three race categories: 3K, 5K and 10K.

 

Registration Points:

1. Bench (Metro Manila branches), Runnr, R.O.X., Planet Sports

2. For schools: Office of Student Affairs.

3. For companies: HR Department

Registration fee:

• Php100 for students and armed services (Official Delegation)
• Php250 for regular participants

You can claim your race kits (inclusive of your singlet, racing bib and race info) at the following areas:
1. ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. Building - for Companies and Schools
2. Retail (end of August) - Bench (Metro Manila branches), Runnr, R.O.X., Planet Sports, New Balance (Shangri-La, Glorietta)
3. For Schools (official delegation): Office of Student Affairs
4. For Companies (official delegation): HR Department

Note: Registration is on a first come, first served basis. There will be no registration during actual race day.

Runners will be coming from three starting points:

   1. SM Mall of Asia (for the 3K run) – View route here.
   2. CCP Complex (for the 5K run) – View route here
   3. Makati (for the 10K run) – View route here.

These three points will all converge at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City for a grand celebration to toast to the event.
