Heart Evangelista Takes Her Mom on Vacation--at Her Wedding Venue!

A year and a half after Heart Evangelista’s February 2015 wedding in Balesin Island, her mother Cecile Ongpauco "finally" made it to the venue!

Heart snapped away as her mom joked around when they toured the resort, saying "Where’s the wedding? Am I too early?" What a sense of humor, tita!

It’s public knowledge that Heart and her parents had a strained relationship in the past, more so when Heart became romantically involved with Sen. Chiz Escudero. Both of Heart’s parents were noticeably absent during her wedding to the senator in 2015. [via PEP.ph]

But it sure looks like everything has been patched up! Heart and her mom, along with Sen. Chiz, flew to the exclusive resort last weekend to celebrate her mama Cecile’s birthday. Even Heart's dad was supposed to make it to the trip, but as the Kapuso star put it, he was "too scared to fly." Awww!
