Ignore No More: Mom Creates App that Forces Kids to Call Back
App allows parents to lock kid’s phone remotely when calls go unanswered
There’s nothing as annoying as constantly calling someone and having that someone ignore the call—or worse, ending the call or answering but then hanging up.
Imagine your teenager do exactly that to you. (We can just imagine the spike in your blood pressure, now.)
New York mom Sharon Standifir was fed up with her teens ignoring her calls that she made an app that would prevent kids from using their phones until they returned their parents’ call.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWPhoto by Jhaymesisviphotography via flickr creative commons
The app, called the “Ignore No More” app, which costs P99.99 and is available on Android, gives parents a way to lock their kid’s phone remotely. The child’s phone screen will just turn black once the shut down is activated. The kid will need to call his parents back immediately or contact an emergency number like 911 to get the password that has been set to unlock the phone.

The app comes with a drawback, though. For parents to successfully use the app, they will of course first need to get a hold of their child’s smart phone so they can download the app on the device and activate it as well.
