A pink-and-gold-themed baby shower was thrown in honor or former Kapuso star Nadine Samonte, who is on her eighth month of pregnancy. It will be her and husband Richard Chua's first child, a baby girl they will name Heather Sloane. The baby shower was held last weekend at Stacy's restaurant in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, and attended by a few of their friends, including lifestyle blogger Cat Arambulo, and celebrity couple Jeremy Marquez and Gwen Zamora, who are set to tie the knot on December 10 this year. 2. PNP Chief 'Bato' comes to child vendor's rescue at SONA
His job may require him to be tough, but PNP Chief Ronaldo 'Bato' dela Rosa definitely has a soft side, as exhibited during President Rody Duterte's first State of the Nation Address (SONA) yesterday. While inspecting the perimeter of the Batasang Pambansa, dela Rosa's attention was caught by an eight-year-old water vendor who tripped and fell on the ground amidst the crowds gathered in the area. 3. Baby Zia is eight months old!

Time flies, and Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera knows this only too well. Her and husband Dingdong Dantes's firstborn, Maria Letizia, just turned eight months old last Saturday, July 23, and the host of Yan ang Morning couldn't help but feel sentimental, captioning another photo of Zia with "You're truly heaven sent". Zia recently appeared in her very first endorsement with her mom as brand ambassadors for Johnson's Milk + Oats baby bath and lotion. (pep.ph) 

4. Chris Tiu marks Instagram milestone with daughter's baptism

PBA pro baller Chris Tiu marked his 1,000th Instagram post with a fitting photo -- a family picture taken during his 6-week-old daughter Amanda Claire's baptism last Sunday, July 24, at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati. Chef Happy Ongpauco prepared a feast comprised of seafood paella, roasted meat and canapes for the ninongs, ninangs, and other guests. Chris married Clarisse Ong, an investment banker, in September 2013 after twelve years of dating. (pep.ph) 

5. Museo Pambata launches new interactive spot
Today, July 26, Museo Pambata will open a new career corner within the Paglaki Ko/Career Options theme room. The “Paglaki Ko Gusto Ko Maging Manunulat at Ilustrador Para sa Kabataan” theme room will now include the storytellers or “kuwentista” as a career option.

Set to become a favorite spot for children to listen to stories, or share their own tales and ideas, the area includes a storytelling stage, a mirror wall where children can practice different facial expressions, a big book which tells kids how to use their voices in effective storytelling, and a viewing area where one can listen to stories as told by featured storytellers JK Anicoche, Rey Bufi, Charlot Cachuela, Zarah Gagatiga, Mars Mercado, and “Kuya Bodjie” Pascua.

Museo Pambata has six other theme rooms with hands-on educational exhibits namely Old Manila, Environment, Children in the Global Village, I Love My Planet Earth, My Body Works, and Marketplace.
