It's going to be a boy for Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo!
The revelation was done after the soon-to-be parents opened a big box filled with blue balloons as confetti dropped overhead. The gender-reveal party, organized by baby stroller brand Aprica, last October 8, at the Grillers Steak House in Cebu, where they are now based.
"I'm really happy kasi I really wanted a boy first," Kaye told the press at the party. "Siya [Paul Jake], gusto niya girl kasi feeling niya mas responsible kapag girl," the actress added. Kaye said she planned to have two kids, but her husband wanted three. "Siya gusto niya three kasi parang bitin daw kapag two. Parang walang referee kapag dalawa lang, so good luck. One down, two to go," she said.
The former Tabing Ilog actress, who was glowing, also believed she got pregnant after she did not feel the pressure to conceive anymore. "Nabuntis ako noong hindi na kami pressured. Yun din kasi sabi ng doktor, 'Don't pressure yourself kasi the more na ma-pressure kayo, mas may stress.' Hindi raw talaga mabubuo," Kay shared. (pep.ph)
Juday, Ryan and family celebrate Lucho's 7th birthday!
According to the mom of three, weeks before his birthday, the now-7-year-old already knew what he wanted: have a steak all to himself, play at Adventure Zone, sleep again in Shangri-la at The Fort inside his own teepee, and a have soccer-themed cake "na sumisipa siya ng bola."
Mom made it all happen, and Goldilocks took care of Lucho's cake that had soccer ball candies inside.

Before the big party, the party of five celebrated Lucho's birthday with what looked like a crepe cake with a number 7 candle. Judy Ann wrote on Instagram, "You are everything we've prayed for, and more. You continue to amaze mommy and daddy every single day with your kindness, compassion, wit, charm, love, how you handle things more than a grown-up would, how you continue to understand your sisters even at their most sungit moments. You are just simply amazing." The award-winning actress added, "May all your wishes come true my sweetheart. Mom and dad will always be here to hold your hand and guide you forever. We love you so much our buching!"

Neri has opened her latest business endeavor, Neri's Bakeshop, and all the baked bread goodies were already all sold out before it officially opened. "Sold out na! Pero still baking! Maraming salamaaaaaaat sa lahat ng bumili! Sobraaaang salamat po!" Neri wrote on Instagram. In her caption, Neri might have already found clients beyond the bakeshop as she thanked "caterers at sa mga taga hotel na susupplyan na namin."
"Personal favorite ko yung ensaymada! Pero gustong gusto ni Chito ang brownies. Paborito naman ng mga senior ang pandecoco at Spanish bread! Ang mga bata naman siyempre ang cupcakes!" Neri shared. Neri's Bakeshop is besides her Neri's Ukayan, which she has been growing into a one-stop vacation place in Tagaytay. Neri has also announced that SM will soon carry Neri's Gourmet Tuyo.

Like any new mom, the 24-year-old actress admitted she was scared to hold and bathe her newborn son. It was a good thing her fiance Aljur's mom was there to help. "Sabi niya, 'Hawakan mo yung anak mo. Anak mo 'yan, kaya mo 'yan!'" Kylie recounted to Pep.ph. "Tama naman siya. Nagawa ko naman. Trinain ako ng mommy nito [ni Aljur]...'Matututo ka rin, observe ka lang, e.' Tapos, siyempre, automatic na rin yung motherly instinct, papasok bigla," she added.
The new mom said she didn't have a role model for parenting. "We’re doing our own thing. Siyempre, kailangan yung core, sa 'ming dalawa 'yon," Kylie said. She explained that she didn't want to copy other parents' style to to keep things real and avoid putting too much pressure on themselves.
Kylie shares Aljur would burp their baby after she finishes breastfeeding. He also takes parenting duty at night and whenever she needs to rest. "So ang nangyayari, pakain ko muna, tapos papasa ko na. Tulog na ako." (pep.ph)
