Jake Ejercito calls her “his best mate and date,” and it’s easy to guess who he is talking about if you’re familiar with his Instagram.
Jake doesn’t often post on the media sharing site, but his girl dad status is on full display when you take a look at his photo gallery.
In June 2020, Jake wrote the following about being in quarantine with daughter, Ellie Eigenmann, who was with her dad when the community quarantine took effect on March 15, 2020. (Mom Andi, who is based in Siargao, was reunited with Ellie in June.)
“The silver lining in all this is having spent 102 straight days with her as opposed to the usual sched. The days were long and tough, but she’s been a reminder that the world still is beautiful — and better than Marst.”
The photos showed Ellie brushing her teeth, doing arts and crafts, watching Harry Potter, losing a tooth, and even baking as her lolo, former Philippine president Joseph Ejercito Estrada, looked on. (We’d love to know the story behind their expressions on photo no. 7 in the album below!)
Last September 21, Jake posted another batch of photos on Instagram with the caption, “Oh outdoors and u.” The duo was laughing throughout the series.
Side note: Jake’s brother, Jacob, left this comment, “Not captioned: ‘Shoutout to my lil’ bro who’s nothing short of amazing with his camera skilzz, dabomb.com.’”
It was an “awww” moment on Twitter, however, when Jake shared a similar set of snapshots in what looked like the same location. But it showed Ellie in 2014 and 2017. She and her father still have the same look of pure love and joy in 2020.
