New Dad JC De Vera Admits He Worries About How To Pay For Electricy, Water, Amortization
These days it's hard to pass on any opportunity to earn.by Rachel Perez .
With the pandemic crippling many businesses, it’s hard to pass on any work opportunity, especially if you have a family. Actor JC de Vera wasn’t shy to admit it.
JC, who revealed in 2018 that he’s a father to his baby girl, Lana Althena, now 2, a dad to Lana Althea, admitted that he misses his craft. But above all, he has bills to pay.
“Siguro malaking factor yung nagwo-worry na rin yung pamilya ko sa anong ibabayad sa kuryente, sa tubig, sa mga monthly amortization,” he told Pep.ph on accepting to star in the movie Escape From Mamasapano, which is based on real events in January 2015.
The Kapamilya actor says as actors, he has saved and invested his hard-earned money for his family's future. Still, with the pandemic and ABS-CBN’s closure, he can’t afford to just stay home.
"Kailangan lang harapin yung fear, kailangan lang talaga harapin na kayang talunin itong COVID-19. Kailangan mag-move forward din," he said. "Simula talagang mag-work, kasi if not, magiging stagnant talaga yung buhay. Paano yung monthly amortizations?"JC added.
