Joy W. Sotto Is Expecting Another Baby Boy For Her 6th Child!

They weren’t planning to have a sixth child, but Joy W. Sotto and husband Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto are expecting another addition to their brood in September 2020. The couple hosted a Zoom gender reveal party late in May -- and it’s going to be another baby boy!

“It’s a HE! It’s a boy!” Joy wrote ono Instagram a week ago. “Which means, God really wanted Amari to be the only princess with five protectors, plus Daddy!” she added.

“We were praying for a girl,” Gian admitted in the gender reveal video that’s up on Joy’s YouTube channel. “But either way, I am okay with any because this is really a blessing from God,” the soon-to-be mom of six.

Joy and Gian have five kids Hugo, 15, Edrigu, 12, Sandro, 8, Rossano, 7, and the unica hija Amari, 4. Those who attended the Zoom video conference are their extended families, including doting grandparents former actress Helen Gamboa and Senator Tito Sotto, and close friends.

Joy thanked Nice Print Photography for making a gender reveal “party” possible even during the quarantine period. “It made it even more memorable!” she added.

For the gender reveal setup, everything was DIY-ed by Flourish and Frills Concept Design Studio. They made everything and sent it all to Joy’s house for them to assemble.

“They send all the materials, and you just put everything together, just like building legos,” Joy shared. “So easy and simple! It even comes with an instruction manual,” she said.

Aligning with the theme colors of the baby reveal, Joy wore a flowy printed yellow and green dress. The boys, including Gian, wore white polos paired with khaki or denim jeans. Amari donned a textured white dress with a pretty headband.

Joy also thanked her spiritual family, who helped make the gender reveal possible. “It all came together because of you, ladies, from the little details behind the scenes, coordinating with everything and so much more, “Joy added.

“The yummy treats, the cake, the plan, and the twist for the dartboard reveal, and all the other little details just made everything so perfect!” she shared.
