Judy Ann Santos wishing for more time to spend with her kids is all of us moms. Only, the star of the new ABS-CBN inspirational serye “Starla” puts it differently: “Sana dalawa ako para ‘yung isa naiiwan lang sa bahay.”
It’s a wish the 41-year-old wife and mom of three would like to make on the fictional wishing star after whom the show is named.
We can all relate for sure. Juday shares the sentiment of many moms who feel like there isn’t enough time in a day to tick off everything on the to-do list, and then being too tired to enjoy their time with family after everything is done.
Judy Ann, or Juday, admits it is never easy to leave her kids Yohan, Lucho, and Luna at home to attend to her work commitments.
“Ang hirap kasi talaga umalis ng bahay lalo na ‘pag may trabaho ka, tapos andoon ang mga bata. Lalo na ‘pag weekend, dun lang kayo nagkikita, so parang struggle talaga siya,” she told the media at the press conference.

Thus, she jokingly said that she wished there were two of her. But even if that would never happen, it already feels that way because of the support she gets from her partner for life, husband Ryan Agoncillo.
“I appreciate my husband so much kasi ‘yung support and ‘yung pag-intindi niya sa nangyayari na dire-direchong trabaho ko ngayon, ibang klase rin naman.”
Ryan is admired by many for being a hands-on dad to their three kids, and for how he makes use of social media — Instagram, in particular — as an effective tool for storytelling and strengthening his bond with his kids, thus giving birth to the hashtag #StoriesforLucho.
Says Juday, “Ang wish ko na lang, madagdagan pa ang linggo ng bawat buwan, para magawa ko ang lahat ng dapat kong gawin sa career ko, sa activities ng mga bata.”
