Lucy Torres Gave Juliana Gomez A Letter She Wrote In 2002 For Her 18th Birthday

Juliana Gomez, the unica hija of celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez, celebrated her 18th birthday on Saturday, September 8, 2018. She had a fun disco-themed party with friends and family.

Juliana took to Instagram yesterday to share a letter from her mom, which Lucy wrote on September 10, 2002.

The letter reads:

"You're 18 years old now and at this point, you're most probably faced with decisions that will be crucial to your future. Lift all up to God, who is your best friend.

By now, you must have fallen in love already. Enjoy your first kiss but don't get swept off your feet 'till you're sure he's the one. Don't be scared to let me know—I'll help you explain to Daddy.

We love you with a love that knows no boundaries. Remember to ask for God's guidance and Mary's protection at all times, this way you'll never go wrong. Love, Mommy."

Richard also posted a sweet birthday message for Juliana! His Instagram caption reads:

"To my dearest Juliana, know that you are the best thing that ever happened to me and mom. You are truly a bearer of joy to everyone. I wish you your heart's desire, the best in life and the best of health. Now that you are 18 choose the kind of friends and people you are with. When given a chance to decide on something always decide on what will give you peace and happiness. Continue to be nice and helpful to people. Always remember that we love you very very much! To me and mom you will always be that beautiful little girl no matter how old you get. I love you!"

Lucy also talked about her fervent wishes for Juliana as she turns 18.
