  • Chynna Ortaleza and Kean Cipriano welcomed their second child, a baby boy they named Salem, on September 25, 2019, at 7:14 p.m. At birth, the baby boy weighed six pounds and 12 ounces and measured 50 centimeters long.

The new mom and her newborn are now recovering at home with big sister Stellar. On Instagram, Kean acknowledged his wife’s strength and publicly showered her with praise and gratitude.

“Thank you so much, my love, @chynsortaleza,” the new dad of two wrote on Instagram yesterday, September 29. “You don’t know how much I appreciate everything. Everything you do for our family,” Kean added.

“Wild! Ibang klase!” Kean described his wife’s second journey to motherhood. Kean singled out the challenges Chynna had during pregnancy and birth and the hurdles she has yet to overcome during the postpartum period — on top of “the nurturing, and taking care of the family.”

“Hindi ko alam kung paano ako makakabawi, but please know that I’m just here for you,” Kean shared. “I love you! Sobrang bilib ako sa’yo,” he shared. “Respect to each and every woman in this world!” he added.
