Kristine Hermosa turned candid when she posted her greeting to her husband Oyo Sotto, whose birthday coincides with their wedding anniversary.
She told him in an Instagram post on January 12, 2022: "Today may be a little extraordinary birthday for you but thank you for enduring with me.. mas lalo kang gumagwapo pag kasama kitang nagtitiis at nahihirapan.. joke!
"But on a cheesy note, you are the best thing.. ang sarap mong kasama sa buhay, Hun. I love you so much!!! Happy birthday!!
"P.S sorry wala akong makuhang solo photo mo, either may kasamang bata, aso or stolen shot kaya malabo" (random times where I find you so attractive) nevertheless, gwapo ka sa lahat…"
She then added, "Happy 11th my By!! Sino ba namang magaakala.. iba talaga ang plano ni Lord! The best!"
Back in 2011, not a few were surprised when Kristine and Oyo tied the knot, at the scenic Club Balai Isabel in Batangas, overlooking the Taal Lake. She was 27 at that time and at the peak of her career with a string of hit drama series (Pangako Sa 'Yo, Dahil May Isang Ikaw) and movies (Forevermore, All My Life) under her belt.

But Kristine, hailed as one of Philippine showbiz's loveliest, chose to settle down with Oyo, the eldest son of ace comedian Vic Sotto. They met in 2004 on the set of Enteng Kabisote: Okay Ka, Fairy Ko: The Legend, in which Kristine played Vic's leading lady.
Kristine and Oyo became good friends while working on the fantasy movie and, three sequels later, they were already dating. They eventually tied the knot, with Oyo treating as his own Kristine's adopted son Kiel. Kristine opted to lie low to prioritize her growing family, which now includes Dre, Kaleb, Vin, and Isaac, 5 months old.
For his part, Oyo shared a closeup shot of his beautiful wife to mark their wedding anniversary, with a simple message: "11th [red heart] I [red heart] U," tagging Kristine. "Thank you Father God for keeping us together.
