Kylie was already in labor, beginning August 3 when Aljur was at the press conference of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. "Kasama niya ang nanay ko, kapatid ko, at kung sinumang mga taong nakakatulong sa kanya," he added.
Kylie and Aljur made their pregnancy announcement back in January. They also revealed they were already engaged (not once but three times!) and are already living under one roof. After finding out that they were expecting a son, she referred to him as her "Little Prince," after her favorite book.

It was hard for Kylie to leave the show Encantadia, where she played one of the four leads, Sanggre Amihan. As her relatively easy pregnancy progressed, Kylie felt empowered by the outpouring support of her loved ones. She's most thankful for her tita Mariel Padilla, her dad's wife who also welcomed her first child last year. "Hindi ko in-expect na my stepmother will be my 'step-in' mother," Kylie said at the time, adding that her mom Liezl Sycangco is in Australia looking after her two younger siblings.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The new mom has been reading up and preparing for her new role as a mom, though Kylie revealed that even before she found out about the bun in the oven, she had always wanted to care for another human being. Now her dream has finally come true. Congratulations!
