Is Kylie Padilla's Reunion with Mom Liezl and Sister Queenie a Prelude to Her Wedding? She did say that she will tie the knot with Aljur "sooner than you think".by Rachel Perez .
Mom of four Liezl Sicangco had been staying in the country for some time now, from Australia. She's been spending time with her daughter, actress Kylie Padilla, her fiance Aljur Abrenica, and their one-year-old son Alas Joaquin.
With her eldest daughter Queenie Padilla arriving in the country from Pakistan with her husband Usama Rashid Mir and their daughter Mustahsina Mikailah, it didn't take long for Liezl to meet up with both her children, this time with their chikitings, for a mini-reunion.
"This year has been a year of dreams coming true. How do you spell happy again? H-A-P-P-Y," Kylie wrote on Instagram as a caption for a photo of her with her mom and ate, and a picture of her with Aljur and Queenie and her husband.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Queenie had hinted through a comment in one of Kylie's Instagram posts that she will "soon" join them. The sisters gave birth to their firstborn just more than a week apart: Mustahsina was born on July 24, while Kylie welcomed Alas on August 4.
"Happiness. It’s such a remarkable feeling. It’s like flying into another universe, in a speed of light. The whole world just stops. It’s just you and the positive energies you absorb, and the stars, the galaxies, the planets revolve around you," Queenie wrote on Instagram. The photo shows her with Kylie and their respective partners as their kiddos play in a ball pit.
Usama, on the other hand, quoted the Muslim poet Rumi in the caption of his post about their meet-up. "Stay light on your feet and keep moving. Speak any language, Turkish, Greek, Persian, Arabic, but always speak with love," he wrote.CONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
A lot of the comments expressed pure joy for their reunion, while others were requesting that the sisters and their families also meet up with dad Robin Padilla.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Mariel Padilla, Robin's wife and mom to one-year-old Isabella, reacted to Kylie's posts with three heart emojis. Kylie credits her stepmom for being one of her biggest sources of support and encouragement during her pregnancy, with her mom Liezl who was based in Australia.
It didn't take long for Robin to repost the photos on his own Instagram account. "Maraming salamat po, nag-iisang Dios, sa pagpapala na ito, the proud dad wrote in the caption. "Revolutionaries, you have become, my Queenie and my Kylie, one of faith and one of [the] arts," he added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Kung wala ang mga asawa niyo hindi niyo kakayanin ang mundo mag isa," Robin said. Then, tagging his wife Mariel, he wrote, "Mahal na mahal ko kayong apat lalo ang mga retaso ninyo, hehehe halos, magkaedad si Mustahsina at Alas."

One netizen, however, called out Robin's particular comment about her daughters needing their husbands to survive.
"Idol, wag natin imenos and mga single parents. May asawa man o wala kakayanin ang buhay basta may suporta ng mga taong nagmamahal. Pero ang magkaron ng mabuting asawa ay additional biyaya talaga ng Diyos," one netizen wrote. "I love this pic. Sana kasama naman kayo nila Mariel at baby next time" the person added.
Robin had been very vocal about his displeasure about her daughter Kylie giving birth to Alas out of wedlock. However, all is well now that Aljur had formally asked him for Kylie's hand in marriage.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
With the arrival of Kylie's immediate family members, netizens are speculating in the comments section that her wedding to Aljur may be happening soon. The only ones who have not turned up yet are her two Australia-based siblings, younger sister Sherileen "Zhen-Zhen" and brother Ali.
