"Its never easy to give someone you love so much away. We’ve been together half of our lives. Now you’ll be spending the other half with your own family," Queenie wrote as a caption for their family photo she posted on Instagram.
"I know I have so many shortcomings as an Ate, and for that, I am deeply sorry. But I want you to know that my love for you as your elder sister is unconditional, unbreakable and untarnishable by anything. I am proud to see the beautiful woman you have become," she added.
Queenie noted that Kylie had come so far since their younger days, and yet she remains to be true to herself. She went on to describe her sister as beautiful, kind, loving, humble, brave, adventurous, independent, passionate, and determined.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"You are an amazing sister, an amazing mother, and I know that you will be an amazing wife," the older Padilla sister said. "I cannot thank you enough for helping me with my struggles...Know that whenever you fall, you can always count on me," Queenie promised.
The older Padilla sister ended her post with: "I wish nothing but the best for you and all the success, peace and happiness in the world. If you are happy, I’m happiest. I love you. Congratulations dude, our newlywed, our beautiful bride."
Kylie's Tita Mariel Padilla, wife to her dad Robin Padilla and mom of sister Maria Isabella, also posted a shout-out to the new Mrs. Abrenica, saying Kylie's good upbringing was a testament of Robin and Liezl's parenting skills.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"The reaction when you see a real-life angel, beautiful inside out, @kylienicolepadilla, raised by her parents @robinhoodpadilla @le1z_zel to be independent, strong, passionate and kind," Mariel wrote in the caption. "An ate @mariaisabelladepadilla can definitely look up to. We are so so so happy for you!" she added.
Mariel posted a behind-the-scenes photo before the wedding started where she was with Isabella and Kylie's mom Liezl. Mariel was one of the key persons Kylie relied on for support during her pregnancy and the first few months of motherhood since Liezl was Australia.
At the wedding reception, Mariel first congratulated the newlyweds for the perfect intimate wedding event. "We really really feel your love,” she said, thanking the couple for letting them bear witness to their union.
"We’re all here, celebrating that love, we are all witnessing it, and I feel that this is really destiny. It is your destiny to go through that journey, it’s your destiny to have Alas first," Mariel said in her speech.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Mariel added she had the utmost respect for Kylie and Aljur for not giving in to the pressure of getting married. "You did this during the time that you guys are really ready to commit to one another," the TV host stressed.
For her parting words, Mariel told ALjur: "Kylie is her father’s princess. Now, you keep her like a queen. I know that you do," she said. "I wish you guys the best...I wish you guys nothing but love, [and] more children when you’re ready,” Mariel quipped.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
