Kylie Padilla On Suitors: 'Mga Anak Ko Muna, Tapos Ako, Tapos Trabaho, Payag Ba Sila Ng Ganun?'

Kylie Padilla says, she welcomes the idea of having a new relationship, but she is not rushing things.

"Open naman ako, pero maraming checklists eh. Madami silang pagdadaanan," the mom of two said in an interview with PEP Troika during the press conference of GMA's upcoming show, Bolera.

She adds, her kids are her top priority right now. "“Hindi ko alam kung sino ang tatagal, kasi mga anak ko muna, tapos ako, tapos trabaho ko. Pang-fourth, fifth na sila. Papayag ba sila ng ganun?"

When asked what she's looking for her new partner, “Hindi ko alam, e. Malalaman ko pag nakilala ko na siya,” she said. 

She revealed she's learned a lot from her past relationships, and she is grateful for the lessons that she can take with her moving forward.

“Feeling ko, ang laki ng na-mature ko, e… sana naman, may natutunan ako, and feeling ko talaga, I did. Pero one thing is always to be grateful sa mga bagay na meron sa ‘yo,” she said.

Comeback project 

The TV show Bolera is her comeback project, whom she says, is worthy of her time and effort.

“Maganda naman yung mga first projects na in-offer sa akin. Maganda naman talaga. Ito lang yung naramdaman kong na-in love ako agad. Alam kong magiging maganda siya, at kapag tinanggap ko siya, yun nga, worth it na malayo ako sa mga anak ko."

She said, it's important for her to consider the project first. "Kasi, wala silang nanay… yun ang first na decision ko kapag nagtatrabaho ako, worth it ba. I’m gonna commit 100 percent. Dito ko lang naramdaman sa Bolera, e."

She will play the role of 'Joni,' a billiard prodigy, who aims to prove herself worthy in the male-dominated sport.

Mom first

Kylie proved in a recent event how she puts her kids as her top priority.

On May 18, Kylie attended a product launch in Pampanga. During her interview with the media, her eldest son Alas Joaquin, who was seated in the audience, cried. She then asked if she can have her son sit beside her so he can calm down.

The solo parent received praises, for being a mom first, even at work.

On her Instagram, Kylie also shared a video where she brought her two sons to the mall.

Her followers, including Zeinab Harake, lauded her saying, "Strong woman!"

Kylie separated with actor Aljur Abrenica in July 2021. They have two kids, Alas Joaquin, 4, and Axl Romeo, 2.
