Kylie Padilla Channels 'Amihan' in New Maternity Photos

You can never have too many photos to memorialize your pregnancy, and there’s just too many themes or concepts to explore.

Kylie Padilla has already had a black-and-white maternity shoot for her second pregnancy (Click here to see the photos!). This time around, she channeled the character of Sang’gre Amihan, the air goddess she played in GMA's defunct fantaserye "Encantadia." Kylie also rocked the same ethereal vibe in pink tulle skirts. The actress’ maternity shoot also had shots with husband Aljur Abrenica and son Alas Joaquin in Barong Tagalog. We can’t wait to see the final photos!

Kylie, Aljur, and Alas will soon welcome the new addition to their family, Baby AR, in November.

During her pregnancy, Kylie has also been working on two passion projects. One sprung from her love for writing and “making a statement.” She has been attending classes for the passion project, which started from her “desire to create something I love so much.”

Kylie's reasons for embarking on her passion projects is because she wanted to challenge herself and grow. These also play into her reasons for starting her pre-loved ukay-ukay online shop. Apart from the shop helping her downsize her life, giving away everything she doesn’t need, the actress wanted to learn by experiencing how it is to run a small business.

“Struggles are real! And doing it all [while] pregnant and raising a toddler was harder than I anticipated. But I’m not giving up, “Kylie shared via Instagram Stories. Her projects’ launch dates might be delayed, but Kylie remains determined. “It’s the dreams filled with passion that keep you charged and fulfilled and motivated to keep fighting to make the dream a reality,” she said.

But because she’s also been sick a couple of times already just this month of September 2019, Kylie is taking time to rest. “I think my body is telling me to take it easy,” the preggo mom wrote. “Been working on so many things I think it’s taking a toll on my body that’s already currently making a baby,” Kylie said.

“Kailangan din for Baby AR,” Kylie added. She also wants to give all her time to her firstborn son and her family. “My body says rest so I will,” she said.
