Sunshine Cruz admits she once neglected herself
Mom of three Sunshine Cruz reveals she is at her happiest now in a long time, especially because she feels loved by her boyfriend of three years, businessman Macky Mathay.
"Pareho kami nagsu-support sa pangarap ng isa’t-isa, so happy lang. Kasi nandito na kami sa point ng our lives na ang dami na namin pinagdaanan, so pag magkasama kami happy lang. We inspire each other to be the best we can be," the actress told Push.
Sunshine surely has gone through several major ordeals in the last several years, starting with the breakup of her marriage to actor Cesar Montano, domestic abuse allegations, a lengthy legal battle for the annulment of their marriage, until the court decision was finally handed down in 2018.
Sunshine admits, there was a time when she put her needs last. "There was a time that I forgot to love myself. Ngayon sabi ko nga, ‘How can people love me, how can people support me if ako naman, hindi ko naman kaya na mahalin ang sarili ko?’ So it is very important na magsimula sa atin ang pagmamahal."

Donita finds herself worthy of a second chance, thanks to "two guys"
"Ang galing ko nang umiyak!" actress Donita Rose quipped when she was asked about the advantages of being a solo parent, reports Inquirer.
The mom of one can joke about it now, but there was a time when Donita was at the lowest point of her life following her separation from her husband Eric Villarama, with whom she shares a 15-year-old son, Joshua Paul, or JP.
In the past, Donita has revealed that the reason their marriage failed was because Eric had an affair, which she found out about through a phone call on Valentine's Day in 2015.
Thinking he only forgot to greet her on this special occasion, Donita called Eric on his mobile phone. "Hindi siya sumasagot ng phone, kinabahan na ako. Noong nakausap ko na siya, he said, 'Why are you calling me?'

Donita had to confront Eric right then and told him, "'Parang may iba kang kasama ngayon.'
"Siguro nagulat na lang siya at umamin bigla sa akin. Nagulat ako. I was not expecting it." (Read the full story here.)
Two-and-a-half years after their divorce papers were finalized, Donita says she is finally friends with her ex-husband, and has moved on.
“In order to appreciate being a single mom, you first have to learn to forgive. Bitterness, resentment and anger are chains that bind you down,” she said.
“So far, there have been two guys who made me realize that, yes, I now have a second chance. I’m enjoying the process of guys pursuing me, although there’s nobody now. I have friends, and I’m open to meeting somebody who shares the same faith as I do,” Donita added.
