LOOK: Marian Rivera Just 3 Months After Baby Ziggy Was BornThe Dantes family spent a weekend out of town to celebrate Dingdong's 39th birthdayby Lei Dimarucut-Sison .
Marian Rivera radiates with the glow of motherhood these days. Just a little over 3 months after son Ziggy was born, the actress looks exactly like she did pre-pregnancy, with hardly a trace of postpartum weight or sleepless nights.
The photo she posted on Instagram yesterday, August 4, is proof: wearing a bikini top and without any makeup, the mom of two looked absolutely fresh and well-rested during their family’s weekend getaway in Laguna to celebrate husband Dingdong Dantes’ birthday.
“A quiet weekend away from the city to recharge me for the coming weeks,” she captioned her photo.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Marian, who gave birth to her second child on April 16 after laboring for 10 hours, is probably reaping the benefits of breastfeeding, which include a smaller waistline and getting back to one’s pre-pregnancy form faster. The actress has expressed her commitment to breastfeed baby Ziggy exclusively, just like she did with their firstborn Zia, who is now 3 years old. More recently, Marian also donated her excess breast milk to babies who need it, through The Parenting Emporium.
Dingdong has expressed his amazement at his superwoman-wife, knowing what Marian has to go through to collect this liquid gold. “There are many things I admire about my wife, but one of them that really makes her a superwoman in my eyes is her dedication to breastfeeding,” he wrote.
As for her decision to donate breast milk, “Sobrang dami kasi [breast milk] at alam ko na maraming nangangailangan at hindi lahat ng mommy nakakapag-produce ng ganitong kadami so gusto kong i-share yung milk ko sa mga nangangailangan,” Marian said during an Instagram Live session.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

Dingdong’s birthday weekend was all about family, as photos the couple posted show. Marian shared pics of daughter Zia looking more and more like her, and a sweet couple photo referring to Dingdong as her “Big Boss” (possibly, a reference to the role he will soon play on GMA’s Philippine adaptation of the K-Drama Descendants of the Sun).ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Meanwhile, the birthday celebrant had a memorable 39th birthday celebration held at Lake Caliraya. Among the highlights Dingdong posted on Instagram are a photo of his mom Angeline with her grandchildren, including siblings Zia and Ziggy; a father-and-son photo referring to themselves as “Si Datird at si Daport” (because he and Ziggy are both named Jose Sixto, III and IV, respectively); and a snap of the painting by artist Mark Rocha Padernal which depicts Dingdong and baby Ziggy in a loving embrace, a gift from Marian.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
On his Instagram Stories, Dingdong also shared some snippets of their bonding time as family members swam, rode the kayak, and cooked together, after which they feasted on Marian's “special Pinoy spaghetti” and yummy seafood, boodle-style.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The actor and dad of two thanked his wife for the many surprises she had prepared for his 39th birthday. “Ikaw naman ang susunod,” he wrote, which could mean he also has some big plans in store for Marian’s 35th birthday on August 12.
