Marian on breastfeeding: "You can't bash me for doing my obligation"
The actress and mom of one has always been a staunch advocate of breastfeeding, so when a netizen commented recently that breastfeeding in public was inappropriate, Marian naturally had a lot to say. “When my daughter is hungry, it doesn’t matter where I am, I will feed her—pakisulat ’yan -- I don’t care kung sosyalan ’yan o ano pa mang okasyon,” she told Inquirer Entertainment. “Alangan namang sabihin ko, ‘Wait lang, anak, naka-gown ako, mamaya na lang after three hours.' If she’s hungry, I will find a private corner, cover myself up at magpapa-dede ako!” She adds, "You’re being narrow-minded when you judge mothers who breastfeed in public."
And while their baby Zia, who is turning two in November, has been asking her and husband Dingdong for a baby brother, Marian says she will have to finish her new project first with GMA, Super Ma'am, before they can embark on "baby number two project". (pep.ph)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Bride-to-be Coleen Garcia is learning to cook
The 24-year-old actress revealed in an interview with Preview.ph that she is learning to cook for herself and fiancé Billy Crawford. "Am I trying to [practice being] a wife? No, it’s really just a coincidence because Billy and I changed our lifestyle already, and we started going on a low-carb, sugar-free diet. It’s been so hard to eat out because there are so little options that are organic and fresh, so I actually started learning how to prepare food at home, especially desserts -- cheesecakes, pastries, and different kinds of food that have no sugar and are low in carbs.” The couple got engaged in December 2016 and is set to marry in Christian rites come summer of next year.
