Marital spats: How do Cristine Reyes and Ali Khatibi deal?
Married couples can learn a thing or two from the Khatibis in handling their differences with financial spending. Cristine admits she can be a bit stubborn, that Ali needs to remind her to look him in the eye then they're talking about the family budget. "Parang ako si Amara, nakikinig lang. Palagi niya sinasabi sa akin, 'Tingnan mo ako sa mata,'' the Kapamilya star said in an interview aired in the morning talk show Magandang Buhay. The MMA fighter added, "Parang hindi nakikinig. Parang bata rin."
When it comes to budgeting family expenses, Cristine admits Ali has the final say. She, however, was quick to defend that she only splurges for travel and practical stuff. He puts his foot down when his wife gets impulsive in her purchases. "Kinakausap ko lang siya nang maayos. Ini-explain ko sa kanya na siyempre we have bills to pay. Siyempre, that’s what you want to focus on first. You don’t want to keep buying so much or spending on things na tingin mo you can wait muna. Then, kapag okay na, that’s the time you could enjoy," Ali explained, adding that Cristine also calls him out when it comes to his big-boy toys.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

WATCH: John Cena voices Ferdinand the bull in the first trailer!
It's hard to imagine a bulked up WWF superstar taking the lead in an animated film, but John Cena voicing the gentle bull Ferdinand worked just fine. "You look at me and think, 'Big!' You think, 'Scary!'" the titular enormous bull (Cena) said in the trailer. Ferdinand is just not like the other bulls -- he'd rather sniff flowers than snuff out toreros. However, after being mistaken for a dangerous beast, Ferdinand is captured and torn from his home. He is determined to find his way back home, though. With the help of a misfit team, they are in for a Spain-set adventure. The movie is based on a classic 1930s children’s book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf. Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters) co-stars as Lupe, the goat, and Gina Rodriguez (Jane The Virgin) as Una, the hedgehog. Ferdinand premieres in theaters in December. (deadline.com)
London's Giant Boob is a bold statement about breastfeedingADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
London's skyline, around the Shoreditch area, is currently adorned with a giant breast complete with a very prominent nipple that sits atop a building. The installation was put up in time for U.K.'s Mother's Day celebration over the weekend. "It’s hard to believe that in 2017, U.K. moms still feel watched and judged when feeding in public, by bottle or breast," according to a blog post by ad agency Mother London, who's behind the project. "It's a celebration of every woman’s right to decide how and where they feed their children without feeling guilty or embarrassed about their parenting choices," the post read. The huge breast could very well be an effective conversation starter about infant feeding stigmas. What do you think? (adweek.com)
