Maymay Entrata took to Instagram to greet and honor her mother Lorna Entrata, who's an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).

"Happy Birthday mama," Maymay wrote in the caption of her January 17, 2023 post showing what appears a recent photo of them together, tagging Lorna.

Maymay's earlier posts show her latest trip to Japan, where she and her brother Vincent apparently spent the holidays with their mother Lorna.

Lorna, on the other hand, posted on January 12 reels of how she and her older children bonded in Japan.

"I love you, 'Nak," she said about her daughter. "Everytime you say goodbye, it's really [crying emojis]."

Maymay replied in the comments section with her characteristic humorous way: "It's really ano, Ma, tapusin mo ang English mo [tears of joy emoji]."

Lorna then replied: "[crying emoji] It's gonna be sad [crying emoji], but we know it's gonna be [thumbs up emoji] okay [tears of joy emoji] love you, Nak [smiling face with three hearts emoji]."

Back in July 2021, Maymay said in her interview with the ABS-CBN morning talk show Magandang Buhay that she gave her mother a house in Japan a few years earlier.

The Cagayan de Oro native first revealed in an episode of the reality competition show Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7, which she won in 2017, that her mother had to work in Japan after her father left them. She and her brother then grew up with their grandparents.
