Big news for Peppa Pig and her family—they’re welcoming a baby girl!
Mummy Pig announced the gender of her new baby in a gender reveal video posted on their Instagram account. The first video shows Daddy Pig holding and popping a yellow balloon covered in hearts, surrounded by family and friends looking on. In a follow-up video, Mummy Pig reads the gender from an envelope, confirming they’re expecting a girl.
The Big Announcement
Peppa Pig’s family first shared the news of the pregnancy last February. In a press release, Hasbro, the leading games, IP, and toy company, officially announced Mummy Pig was pregnant. The exciting news of the new baby was later featured in an episode titled The Big Announcement, which aired in March. Mummy Pig’s pregnancy was also mentioned on Kylie Kelce’s podcast, Not Gonna Lie.
Peppa Pig and her brother George will find out about their new sibling in Season 10 when Mummy and Daddy Pig break the news of the exciting family addition. Fans will see Peppa as a big sister to two siblings and George as a new big brother (and middle-child!) when Season 11 premieres later this year.
