Starting Saturday, March 20, 2020, Muntinlupa City is under 24-hour curfew through Ordinance 2020-074.
The City Government of Muntinlupa explained on its official Facebook page, “No person shall be allowed to go out of their respective homes unless … he/she falls under exemptions provided by the ordinance.”
Individuals exempted from the 24-hour are the following:
Frontliners and workers providing “essential service”
Individuals buying basic commodities (limited to one person per household)
Peace and Order personnel
Emergency cases

Those who violate this ordinance will be subject to the following penalties:
First offense:
Blotter with the barangay
Picture or capturing of image
Cancellation of benefits granted by the LGU (e.g., the Muntinlupa Scholarship Program, the Dagdag Puhunan zero-interest loan, etc.)
Last offense:
Blotter with the barangay
Picture or capturing of image
Withholding of relief goods and other forms of assistance until the end of the quarantine period
