New mom Kylie sums up her first month as a mom

It's been a month since the former Encantadia actress welcomed her "Little Prince," son Alas Joaquin, with fiance Aljur Abrenica. Through Instagram stories and posts, Kylie shared her thoughts about her firsts as a mom. Labor and childbirth pain seem to be from the distant past now, and she says she has never felt "more tired" in her life. "Boobs are lopsided... eye bags darker than ever... hair is always messy, " and she's become "forgetful as ever." Kylie also said her piece about the pressure on new moms to swiftly get back to their pre-pregnant shape. "Society has its demands, but my baby loves me however much I weigh. He may even like me bigger; everything is softer and comfier," she wrote. 

Breastfeeding is a challenge, too. "Alas and I have our own share of struggles with breastfeeding. We have had troubles with latching on both sides," she wrote, but they are "slowly learning and working through it, since I really want us to reap all the benefits of breastfeeding." She also gave a very apt message to new moms like her: "There is no sin in getting help. After all, it takes a village to raise a child."

The young mom continues, "You realize that motherhood is not just about carrying a baby or giving birth to one. It's a choice every day." She then paid tribute to her mom Liezl Sicangco and all other moms by writing, "Much respect to my mother, to all mothers. Keep your heads up. You got this! Learning never stops. I've become more emphatic to other people. Even towards me." (pep.ph)

After the wedding of the year comes the honeymoon, of course. Newlywed doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, Jr. are in Italy with their adorable two-year-old daughter in tow, and she has agreed to update us on their family honeymoon. "The first stop is Amalfi. We got so tired and dizzy from the zigzag road, so we're taking a break and relaxing under the sun," reads a post in Scarlet Snow Belo's Instagram. 

Next stop is Sorrento, Italy, where Scarlet went twinning with mom Vicki in bright yellow florals. "Mommy and I went looking for my favorite animal -- cats -- for two hours in Ravello." 

Capri was "beautiful and relaxing," according to one of her posts. But before leaving Capri, Scarlet teased that there is more to her parents' milestone wedding celebration. "I can't wait to go home 'coz Mommy and Daddy's celebration is not yet over! There's one more special event!" reads her Instagram post. We can't wait to find out! (gmanetwork.com)

Dingdong Dantes on ironing photo: "Siya sa baby, ako sa gawain."

"Ganun talaga kapag nagtutulungan kayo. Siya sa baby, ako sa gawain," the actor told Pep.ph about the viral nagpaplantsa photo his wife Marian Rivera posted on her Instagram Story while they were in Paris for the Kho-Belo wedding. "Nagkataon din kasi na pinaplantsa ko ang suit ko para sa kasal dahil siyempre nagusot sa maleta. Alangan namang siya pa ang gumawa nun, e, may baby na ngang inaalagaan," he explained.

The proud dad said his daughter was "very friendly" during their Paris vacation. It was Zia's first time to walk as a flower girl, and she executed it perfectly. "Maayos naman kasi ang practice namin, so ako ang nasa dulo, 'tapos siya [Marian] ang magpapakawala," Dingdong shared. (pep.ph)

Surprise! Geoff Eigenmann is going to be a dad!

The actor announced during a Facebook Live session last September 9 that he is going to be a father very soon. The FB live chat PPL Live was held for the first time for fans of artists managed by the PPL talent agency. Geoff's girlfriend, Maya, is the former singer of international girl group Blush, and she is already 36 weeks pregnant!

"Today, officially, is our 36th week, kaya hindi rin nakasama sa PPL Live si Maya, who’s also [been] part of PPL for the past two years. Ready to pop anytime soon. So anytime soon, you’ll gonna see a little baby," he revealed. He said their families and their management had known for a long time now, and they're all happy for them. "I believe, right timing. For me, it was a good decision. Pinag-usapan din namin ni Maya, and finally we’ll be having our baby.” Congratulations! (pep.ph)
